Pet Peeves?!
Okay. So, this is my first post and let me get this straight to you. I am a simple girl and I do have 'pet peeves'.
Sometimes people are so annoying that you may feel like screaming at the top of your lungs. This is a pet peeve. Everyone has them, it's like a basic essential of your life.
Let me talk about some of my pet peeves.
BOOKS. I absolutely love reading books and I have plenty of friends who love reading too. You wanna borrow a book from me? That's great, really. But you should be aware of the ground rules which matter A LOT.
1. No food stains please. I can understand that you love reading the book but not while you're chomping on a sandwich, and decide to spread the mayonnaise on my book instead.
2. Dog-eared pages. I love dogs, but it drives me crazy to see pages in my book dog-eared. I mean like how hard is it to use a bookmark?
3. Creased spines. I usually try my best to not fold my book too much because you get those creases on the spine of the book. All my books are mostly paperback.
4. NO TORN PAGES. It's not your book to tear the pages or the front cover, which makes it even worse.
So readers, don't disappoint your friend. Try sticking to these ground rules and I'm sure it would put your friendship to a greater perspective.
Pet peeve number two. Personally, I hate it when someone decides to take a nap in my room and leave the bed undone after they are done drooling on my pillow. So, this is usually a family member. I prefer things in my room to be the way they are, organised. The same thing applies when your older brother decides to sabotage your desk, while he is looking for scissors or glue. You don't have to act like Peeves The Poltergeist! People just don't put your stuff back in their places after use!
I could just go on rambling about my pet peeves. Whatever you read is just a sample :)
